I rarely do commissions. The fear that I won’t b I rarely do commissions. The fear that I won’t be able to create a piece people like haunts me! This summer a friend commissioned a painting of a hummingbird for a gift. Naturally I painted six birds 😂 to ensure there was one she wanted! (She did indeed like them. Thank goodness). These sweet birds have been decorating my room, but it’s time to let the rest of them fly off to new homes. Going to have an IG sale this Saturday morning and will show the rest! There are five originals (5x7), all matted (frames not included). #hummingbirdart #hummingbirds

Happy Wednesday! Flowers for the midweek. Aren’ Happy Wednesday! Flowers for the midweek. Aren’t these colors lovely?! I had the opportunity to be part of a small women’s conference last week. I loved connecting, setting up my products, seeing friends. And I will take every opportunity to buy and share fresh flowers! 🌻🌷🌸 Being in squares brings me back in elementary school a bit! 😂I’m thankful for a few things to chuckle at! It was so good to see a few people. We laughed and talked in our respective squares and were encouraged by the presenters and honestly, being around other people. These small outdoor gatherings, whether at a distanced event, or coffee in the park- they are so life giving!! Leaves me inspired and energized for several days. 💛
