We’ll be creating cozy and charming paintings of our favorite winter scenes: homes, trees, wreaths, snowmen, decor and more. It’s going to be a blast.
This class is for artists and crafters of all levels. Whether you have been painting with watercolor for a while or are new to the medium, we’ll learn how to create gorgeous holiday scenes.
This is a fun, light-hearted workshop with the goal of bringing in a little more joy and sparkle to your holiday season. You’ll watch me take a piece I thought was a goner and bring it back to live with easy-to-do fixes and festive touches.
The holidays move fast! I’ve found the best way to slow them down is to intentionally slow myself down. Sitting down to create and let my heart and soul rest is a way for me to let the wonder back into the holidays.
Slow down, grab a glass of eggnog or cup of coffee and come curl up to create some holiday charm. Enter in to this holiday season with joy!

Come in and delight in the joy of the season with “Enter In: Creating a Holiday Season of Comfort & Joy.”
We’ll be creating charming winter scenes full of the joy and color and coziness we love about the holiday season.
If you’ve never picked up watercolor before, painting homes is a fun way to start. Homes are shapes mixed up in different ways. We’ll sketch, paint and decorate together and I’ll share how to take a basic home and create lots of different winter scenes from it. You’ll be thrilled with what you create!
So often, I’ll start out thinking, “I don’t know about this….” Then, with some work and love and pizazz, we’ve created a small work of art to cherish. Come along and see.
Workshop Sessions Include:
1 -Color Pop: How to Create Gorgeous Color Combos with Watercolors
2- Tall Christmas Home: Creating a Delightful Christmas Home with the #15 Minute Creativity Approach. With one style, we’ll make three different homes (there are endless options!).
3- Red Roof Home: Enter into a Season of Joy with a with this happy, very cheerful home!
4- Starry Night, Silent Night: Enter in to a Season of Quiet with this Cozy Night Scene
5-Christmas Joy Street. Inspired by a recent trip to Paris, these festive homes have a European feel.
6- Friend Homes. Every dreamed about living next to your best friend? This was going through my head as I designed this painting with two sweet, Christmas-y homes.
7- Festive Tags: We’ll create a variety of trees, wreaths and snowmen to be used for gifts, cards and much more
8- A Humble Home {Bonus} We’ll create a sweet nativity home where this cherished holiday first started
And more! There will be about 10 full holiday workshops. Each one is broken down into a prep/sketching session, a painting session, and a ‘festive additions’ session. You can do them all in one sitting or as time allows.
Plus, Live Sessions in our Private Facebook Group. We’ll have 2+ live sessions where we can interact and I’ll do a bit of teaching. If you can’t make it to the Live Class, the recording will be available on the Facebook page.
