August was filled with creating new artwork, searching my heart for what would brighten hearts, homes, and mailboxes this holiday season.
With the help of a few friends, my mom, and my youngest sister, we came up with five cards that I hope will resonate with your heart this year. In previous years I would spend quite a bit of time at my favorite stationery store, Papyrus (now, unfortunately out of business) searching through the dozens of designs, looking for the right card to send to family, to friends, to colleagues, and clients.
I’ve come up with five designs for you this year and my heart is they will resonate with you.
Each card is a bit different in style. This being the first year designing cards, it was a bit of a guessing game of what would resonate with people.
What is the same with each card:
- Printed on laid paper. Laid paper is a light, textured paper. It reminds me of watercolor and it gives the designs a bit of that art, paint-y feel.
- Laid paper holds all kinds of ink well. No smearing of ink!
- All cards are the standard, greeting card size (a 7.5 inch x 10 inch) size with generous room for a personalized greeting inside the interior.
- Each card comes with envelopes.
- They were made with lots of love and anticipation for a season of comfort and joy at the end of a hard year
Your support means so much to me. Thank you for encouraging me in this new endeavor as a stationer this year!

A Merry Parisian-Inspired Christmas Street
In the fall of 2018, I visited Paris. I came home full of croissants, and memories, and a love for French architecture. When it came time for the holidays, this sweet Christmas art was inspired by France’s architecture from that trip.
I didn’t see mailboxes in France and don’t know if the French are so celebratory in hanging ornaments from the trees, though! Mailboxes and going a bit overboard with our ornaments is so American, and I do love it.
The interior of this card reads, “Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!”
18 luxe cards with coordinating white envelopes $27.00 (Use code JOY2020 to receive $5 off your order between now and December 15th.)
Tidings of Comfort & Joy
The idea of families serenading their neighbors with ‘tidings of comfort and joy’ is the inspiration behind this watercolor. Or maybe having a zoom caroling night with friends and family we can’t be with?
The theme of The Grinch may be truer than ever this year. As it seems the events of the year have stolen so much, the joy of Christmas remains, even if the material parts of the holidays – including traveling, work bonuses, gifts, large gatherings, etc. – aren’t part of the year.
Interior reads, “May your holidays be full of comfort and joy.”
Home for the Holidays
The weather outside might be frightful, but it’s warm and cozy in this sweet holiday home! The warm light inside welcomes guests with hot cocoa, laughter, and sweet conversation.
Blank interior for a personalized greeting.
Set of 18 cards with Christmas red envelopes $27.00
Sweet Baby Jesus & the Star
This was an acrylic painting created last Christmas. It is a bit abstract in nature. I wasn’t sure how the texture of the acrylic paint would work when translating to a card, but on the laid paper, the texture is captured.
Interior reads, “Merry Christmas!”
The back has a brief note about the painting as well as the bible verse, Isaiah 9:6. “And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

I hope these cards resonate with you and the message you want to share this holiday season.
Sending Christmas cards is such a joyful experience and so is receiving them!
Girl in Red Boots with Wreath
Classic red rain boots, warm mittens, and a thick coat are the essential accessories for going Christmas
Pictures of people carrying wreaths bring a smile to my face. There is something so optimistic about picking out an evergreen wreath and bringing it home to greet all who enter your home. And goodness knows, we all need a BIG dose of consistent optimism to get us through this season!!!
Interior reads, “Wishing you a wonderful holiday season.”
May the Christmas cards you send out bring smiles to the faces and hearts of the recipients.
And, may your mailbox be full of mail that brings your heart joy this Christmas season!
